Boys
- Alastor - AKA Mad Eye Moody, the brave and eccentric Auror.
- Albus - Dumbledore, headmaster at Hogwarts and one of the most powerful wizards who ever lived. Harry also calls his son Albus.
- Antioch - Surname Peverell; Original owner of the Elder Wand in The Tale of the Three Brothers
- Arthur – Loveable Muggle-obsessed father of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny Weasley.
- Bill – Oldest of the Weasleys; Bill is handsome, adventurous and cool.
- Blaise – Slytherin student, friends with Draco Malfoy.
- Cadmus – Owner of the Resurrection Stone in The Tale of the Three Brothers
- Cedric – The handsome Hufflepuff student was a school prefect, Quidditch captain and co-winner of the Triwizard Tournament.
- Charlie – Second of the Weasley boys, and a member of the Order of the Phoenix and a dragons master!
- Dudley – Joking, please don't name your child after this bully!
- Filius – Professor Flitwick is Head of Ravenclaw and teaches charms.
- Florean – owner of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour at Diagon Alley (and subject of a ghost plot)
- Fred – identical twin brother of George Weasley, this pair are brave but mischievous
- George – identical twin brother of Fred Weasley (see above)
- Harry - naturally, it makes perfect sense to name your child after the Boy Who Lived
- Ignotus – Owner of the Invisibility Cloak in The Tale of the Three Brothers
- James – Harry Potter's father, who Harry looks just like (his green eyes are from his mother) Died protecting his family. Harry names his son James.
- Kingsley – Auror and eventually the Minister for Magic
- Remus – Wonderful Professor Lupin was certainly our favourite Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.
- Ron – Lovable Ron is best friends with Harry and Hermione and youngest Son of the Weasleys.
- Rubeus – Big, friendly half-giant Hagrid's first name.
- Severus – Snape was spying on the Death Eaters for the Order of the Phoenix. An unlikely hero, Harry calls his own son after him (Albus Severus)
- Sirius – Black was Harry Potter's godfather, Harry names his own son after him (James Sirius)
- Teddy - Remus and Tonk's only son, named after her father
- Viktor – Famous Bulgarian Quidditch player and Durmstrang student who participated in the Triwizard Tournament, dated Hermione.
- Xenophilius – What a name! Father of Luna Lovegood, and editor of The Quibbler.
Girls
- Andromeda - Disowned by the Black family for marrying Muggle-born Ted Tonks, mother of Nymphadora Tonks.
- Ariana - Sister to Albus Dumbledore
- Augusta - Neville Longbottom's fierce and brave grandmother
- Aurora – Professor Sinistra iteaches Astronomy at Hogwarts.
- Cho – Chang is a pretty Ravenclaw student, star Quidditch Seeker and Harry's first girlfriend.
- Emmeline – a "stately looking witch" that helps deliver Harry to Grimmauld Place, a member of the Order of the Phoenix.
- Fleur – Breathtakingly beautiful Beauxbaton student who participated in the Triwizard Tournament representing, later married Bill Weasley.
- Ginevra / Ginny – Only daughter and youngest of the Weasleys, Harry Potter's true love.
- Hermione – one of Harry's best friends. She is incredibly intelligent, a book-lover, and a Mudblood and proud of it!
- Irma – Pince is the Hogwarts librarian (and fellow book lover)
- Lavender – The prettiest name! Brown is a Gryffindor student and was Ron's first girlfriend
- Lily – Harry Potter's beautiful mother, died protecting him against Voldemort. Harry names his daughter after her.
- Luna – She is one of a kind! Wonderfully unique Ravenclaw student. Harry gives his daughter this middle name.
- Minerva – Professor McGonagall is Head of Gryffindor House and teaches Transfiguration
- Molly – Mother of the Weasleys, excellent at household spells and kicking Deatheaters' arses
- Nymphadora - Tonks hates her name, but we think its quite cool!
- Padma – Ravenclaw student, identical twin sister of Parvati Patil
- Parvati – Gryffindor student, identical twin sister of Padma Patil
- Poppy – Hogwarts school nurse, she can heal almost anything
- Pomona – Professor Sprout teaches Herbology and is Head of Hufflepuff house.
- Rolanda – Madame Hooch is Hogwarts flying instructor and Quidditch referee.
