November is National Novel Writing Month

It's getting cold and wet outside - so November seems an excellent time to batten down the hatches and write.

National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) began in 1999 to encourage people to write. We all have a story to tell, and who knows, you might just create the next great work of literature!

The aim is to try and write 50,000 words in one month, which broken down is 1700 words a day. Don't worry about the editing, spelling or grammar for now - National Novel Writing Month is just about getting the first draft done.

So this is your sign to get writing, and enjoy!
